For a long time, I was the kind of person who always looked for answers.

There were times when I felt lost, confused, and unsure about what to do next. Life can feel heavy sometimes. Love, work, money, family, and self-worth can all feel too much when they happen at the same time.

I know how it feels to wish for a sign.

A simple message that says, “You are okay. You are not alone. You can still move forward.”

That is how my journey with tarot started.

How It All Began

My interest in card reading started in the early 2000s, back when I was still in college.

Before tarot, I was first curious about cartomancy. This is a type of reading that uses regular playing cards. A friend of my mother used to do card readings, or what many Filipinos call hula-hula.

I would quietly watch and wonder how simple cards could give messages that felt so meaningful.

At that time, I did not fully understand it yet. But I knew there was something special about it. I was amazed by how symbols, feelings, and intuition could work together.

That curiosity stayed with me for years.

Later on, I found myself drawn to tarot cards.

At first, I only wanted to learn out of curiosity. I never thought I would actually read for other people or connect deeply with the cards. But the more I learned, the more I understood that tarot is not about scaring people or telling them exactly what will happen.

For me, tarot is about clarity.
